The Acklins Fishing Tournament Associations along with TKS Productions are

very excited and pleased to introduce to you, The Inaugural Acklins Marlins Classic Tournament to be held at Pestell Beach, Chester’s Acklins and Participating Marina’s Throughout The Bahamas. This event is scheduled to take place Friday, July 1st, to Monday  July 4th, 2022. ( https://logwork.com/countdown-7soi ) and is fast approaching, this event not only geared to social networking, family fun and entertainment, but as a company, it is our desire to contribute 10%  of our annual event sales for 2022 to various communities in the Bahamas beginning with Acklins. We intend to do this by choosing a charity of our choice, to sponsor and to provide assistance with any necessary causes they may have. The first two foundations chosen are:

❖ The Bahamas Reef Environment Educational Foundation (BREEF) ❖ The Acklins Development Fund/BAHARAM:

❖ This years goal is to provide a dentist chair and setup for the clinic in Acklins

❖ Build a Storm and Disaster Shelter

  • Painting restoration of The castle Island lighthouse Acklins

❖ Summer internship award for Marine Biology at The University of The Bahamas

Using some of the proceeds from last year’s fishing tournament, we were able to provide rental assistance ($8,000.00) to individuals in need, utility assistance and repaired and painted various homes of the elderly in Chester’s Bay Acklins. Becoming a sponsor of this event, will not only allow you to assist us in accomplishing our goal with this event but this sponsorship will also assist with the development and improvement, provide scholarships for those in need and provide monthly assistance to the elderly on the Island of Acklins.
